Who We Are

Hope Church is a multi-site and multi-ethnic church reaching the urban heart of San Diego. There is no main campus- each of our campuses has a neighborhood feel. We do church “outside of the box”- each location does ministry in a way that helps it to reach its neighborhood. Collectively, we are working to change our city from the inside out.

Our philosophy of ministry is simple…

• Declare Hope, Not Condemnation. Church should be a safe place to discover who Jesus Christ is. As you encounter Him, the Holy Spirit will guide you into making the changes that are necessary to be a follower of Jesus.
• Faith, Not Entertainment. We are here to help you to live as a follower of Jesus Christ. At the heart of this is our life groups where you can learn about God in a relaxed environment with others. Our life groups meet throughout the week and at various locations.
• Love, Not Greed. Jesus gave Himself away and we want to do the same. You’ll find an opportunity to serve your church in ministry, your community through acts of kindness, and your world through missions.
